Selecting the right technology for your needs, deciding on implementation resources, and defining the strategy (with sales cooperation) all have to come before the actual “set if and forget it” can come into play.

This session provides real processes, resources, and tactics to get started with marketing automation at a B2B organization. We’ll emphasize how manufacturing can leverage the tools and offer a real case-study with examples. You will walk away feeling confident with a plan in place and peace of mind.

Lauren Nagys is a Marketing leader with over fifteen years of experience in International marketing and business strategy development. She has had the pleasure of running marketing operations at organizations regionally-based within the multi-million-dollar revenue range to internationally-focused, publicly traded organizations with over a billion dollars of revenue. With her career spent in sectors ranging from Energy, Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail, and the Service industry, she offers a well-rounded perspective on how successful strategies can be leveraged no matter the audience or budget. Lauren currently works at Smalley, a global leader in manufacturing as the Director of Marketing and has been with the company for over eight years. She leads a team of marketing professionals based in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Her career has been heavily focused on implementing marketing technologies on a global scale, and she is extremely passionate about programs and process development for CRM, customer experience (CX), e-commerce, and marketing automation. Lauren has been a certified Salesforce Pardot Specialist since 2017 and a Salesforce Sales Cloud Admin for the past decade. In addition to marketing operation strategies, Lauren dedicates much of her time to coaching and leadership so she can help develop her team of Marketers and others in the local Marketing community. She truly believes that “Your Greatness is not what you have, but what you give” and is an avid follower of the servant leadership methodology. Lauren is an active volunteer, event co-host, and Workshop Chair at the Chicago Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). She also serves as both a mentor and coach for District 95’s INCubator.edu student entrepreneurial program.

Lauren is based in Illinois, married, and enjoys spending time with her niece, nephew, dog and tending to her garden. She has the opportunity to travel for business and enjoys exploring other food and cultures. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is currently pursuing her MBA from Northern Illinois University, her alma mater.
